Fredericksburg Brewing Company
With over 17 years in operation, Fredericksburg Brewing Company is the oldest brewpub in Texas. It is located in the heart of the historic downtown shopping district, where you'll find their establishment in a restored two-story building from the 1890s. Touring the building itself is an experience to be savored, but add in the mouth-watering food, extensive dining area, air-conditioned biergarten, and lager room with retail space, and you've got the makings of an amazing time. Their menu features a little bit of everything, from southwestern egg rolls and street tacos to German favorites. When paired with one of their eight original beers, you can’t go wrong. Their hours of operation are Mon - Thu 11:30 a.m. - 9 p.m., Fri 11:30 a.m. - 10 p.m., and Sat 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Altstadt Brewery
Altstadt Brewery is a Bavarian-inspired venue specializing in world-class beer, live music, and phenomenal food. Visitors love viewing the colorful Texas sunsets from their outdoor biergarten in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Ranked 4th Best Brewery in America by the U.S. Beer Open Championship, you can rest assured that not only will you enjoy the environment, but you’ll also love the food and beverages. Beer flights are always a hit, especially when paired with some of their authentic German dishes, such as the sausage platter and gurkensalat. Their hours of operation are Wed & Thu 12-8 p.m., Fri & Sat 12-9 p.m., and Sun 11-4 p.m.
